The Storykids Creative Contest is a platform designed to empower young minds through storytelling, art, music, and drama. Aimed at fostering creativity and addressing relevant themes, the contest invites students to express their ideas on significant topics. This year’s contest, our very first edition, centered around “Overcoming Negative Influences in the 21st Century,” inspired by the Michael’s Adventures series. The contest ran from Monday, 27th May to June 28th, 2024.
Contest Overview
In this inaugural edition, 14 schools from 4 regions participated, competing in four categories: Drama, Poetry/Prose, Artwork, and Music. The contest was structured in stages:
1. Initial Submission Stage: Students submitted their
entries based on the theme.
2. Elimination Stage: Entries not meeting the basic criteria
or not aligned with the theme were eliminated.
3. Refinement Stage: Selected entries were refined based on
feedback.
4. Creative Project Defense: Contestants defended their
projects in one-on-one interviews with the panel, followed by final evaluations
by judges.
